I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) in good standing with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. Since beginning my career in 2012, I’ve worked with youth and adults from diverse backgrounds navigating challenges including depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, boundary setting, perfectionism, self-criticism, grief and loss, life transitions, burnout, and identity exploration.
My practice is grounded in a feminist therapy framework and integrates trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches including CBT, DBT, EMDR, and mindfulness/self-compassion practices.
In our work together, I strive to see your concerns in context, without judging or pathologizing. I believe that the behaviours individuals struggle with often came about because they were at one point useful, and that the best path towards change lies in finding the strengths and wisdom in what you’re already doing.
My ultimate goal is to bring my real self into the counselling room and to work with you to cultivate a greater kindness, compassion, and understanding for yourself and your circumstances. Together, we’ll move toward greater self-compassion, clarity, and healing.
